Marshall reported that everything was setup for the Federal Blvd Corridor Wide Planning process public meeting the next week at Lincoln High. The previous week the first task force meeting had been held, providing an overview of the anticipated process. Also a draft copy of the Existing Conditions report was presented and discussed. A Partnership email newsletter announcing the kickoff meeting was planned for the next morning. It was hoped that attendance would reach 100 people.
It was decided to hold a Saturday Social at Little Machine Brewery. At the Social, visual boards of the Federal planning process could be provided. A possible date of May 21 was decided, to coincide with JPUN’s Jefferson Park clean up event. She will report details back to the board.
Marshall provided updated information about the Jefferson Park Farm and Flea (JPFF). The first scheduled market is Saturday, May 14. Five additional markets are planned, most on the 2nd Saturday of each month (July the exception with the 3rd Saturday). 2015 ended strong with only three markets and Westwood had just named JPFF the best new market for the year.
Meeting adjourned by 7:00 pm; Minutes submitted by Marshall Vanderburg
